Pure Anada Foundation Review

Hello again, loves! Today, I'll be sharing a review on the Pure Anada Smooth & Conceal Liquid Foundation I recently sampled! Pure Anada is a Canadian based non-toxic, green beauty line that has an incredible array of products including this foundation. Candace, the owner sent me samples of this product {extremely sweet of her}, but the following review is completely my honest opinion and was not affected in any way by the fact that I didn't pay for these samples.

Her products are made within her own lab and manufacturing facility, ensuring their cleanliness. All ingredients are ethically sourced and all products are certified cruelty-free, gluten-free, and free of "synthetic preservatives, dyes, fragrances and flavors; anything that may cause negative short, or long term consequences to your health or the environment." Let's get to the review!

   Smooth & Conceal Liquid Foundation:
  • + This foundation had such an impressive medium to full coverage
  • + It lasted all day long {through wisdom teeth surgery lol}
  • + Gorgeous soft-matte finish, sets to a powder finish
  • + Incredible price point for a non-toxic foundation {only $18 USD!!}
  • + Very large shade range
  • + Suggested for normal to dry skin types only, but it worked very well with my combination skin
  • + Evens skin tone and conceals perfections & blemishes extremely well
  • + Mix with a small amount of moisturizer or facial oil to provide lighter coverage
  • + I felt this was one of those foundations that looks better and better as the day goes on
  • - Rather thick foundation, you MUST apply and blend in small sections because it sets very quickly
  • + Easy to blend within the sections
  • - Not buildable at all, I tried to go in with a second layer and it began to appear cakey
  • - Not extremely heavy, but it also wasn't lightweight, so mid-weight if that's a word?
  • Purchase full-size? YES, most definitely, and I want to try more from their line as well!

   Shades I received:
  • 1. Atlantic Bisque - very fair, balanced undertones {the shade that matches me the best currently, not extremely light but a slight yellow tone to it}
  • 2. Arctic Alabaster - porcelain skin, cool undertones {light, light. the lightest shade they offer}
  • 3. Ivory Chinook - very fair, soft golden undertones {a true golden undertone, this was a little too dark for me}
  • 4. Prairie Rose - very fair, cool undertones {very light pink shade}

Overall, this foundation absolutely blew me out of the water. If you're new to the green beauty world, this would be an incredible first foundation due to both its performance and price! Hope you all enjoyed this review.

Stay beautiful.
xoxo, Holly
